I was playing Dark Age on Friday at Gencon, and I created a pretty interesting Brood List.
it's called the
nom nom nom list since most of everything in the army has "bite" or "maw" for one of it's attack group. I really never played Dark Age in a tourney environment before, so I really don't know what to expect.
Here is my list:
Mandible, 120
Mean Jelly Bean with Pud Control, 165
a unit of two
Brood Hounds, 100
a unit of five
Broodlings, 100
a unit of two
Rachets, 90
a unit of two
Pud Throwers, 170
That list allows me to bring 12 puds to the table, which is a super awesome level of pud action. Plus the Broodlings, and the Hounds. It was AWESOME!
At least on paper.
First game I got owned by a super Gun line list. Second Game Garret and I beat the shit out of each other, third game, I won against a different version of the Gun line list. This list had some Close Combat in it.
Anyway, the list was super fun, and the idea of tossing puds at my opponent was pretty sweet.
Just thought I would share!
