Well, hi my name is Chris, and I was playing around on Facebook today and came across this group.

I am 23 years old but have been gaming since I was 11, the LGS was only a few blocks from school. Some of my fav games are Warmachine/ Hordes, 40K, Warhammer, just about any RPG, and I have played various ccg's and cmg's over the years.

I am a grad student at Marshall University, currently enrolled in the Masters of Human Resources program and work part time for the US Army Corps of Engineers, as a student clerk. For my undergrad I did a double major in Histoy and Political Science, with a brief study abroad in Russia. So my focus was on international politics and Russian history, but then I decided that really I could not deal with the academic world any more. So, no longer PHd bound, I now hope to turn my part time job into a full time one; once I get my MA and continue working for the Federal Government.

I am the local Press Gang member, so I rally the troops together and run events about twice a month. For ppl who do not know what a Press Ganger does, I am a rule judge and TO for Privateer Press, we are unpaid volunteers who just want to promote the game and get more ppl playing it. As far as other games go I am working on updating my Chaos Space Marines and still looking for a new fantasy army. Looking into the new Vampire Counts box, I really like the idea behind the undead armies, but they usually never do that well against things like the Empire or Chaos Warriors.

I currently live in WV, however its on the western border of the state. So, it takes me like 5-10 minutes before I am in Eastern Ky and Southern Ohio. The game group in my area, varies from 4-18 ppl. Really depending on what time of year it is, when I run PP events now I get about 6-8 players, yet I have had 16 at one time. GW, games have seen a major decline in my area, but most of us still have our various armies, but we have not seen an influx of new players in several years. CCG's are a major bread winner for the few LGS in this area, mainly Magic but we had a huge VS crowd here when the game first came out.

O well, I think thats enough for my first post. :d/
