Well my copy of Okko was waiting for me last night. I read through the whole thing, but I have not tried a game yet, and I thought I would share what I think about it.

What came in the box, 5 double sided room tiles, each one looks like it is about 12" square. A large number of characters that are made of thick cardboard and have plastic stands for each character. Stat cards for each character, there are also equipment and quick reference cards, 10 inspiration dice and 2 normal dice. A rule book and a adventure book.

On a production level everything is very nice looking and the layeout is easy to read and flows well. Nothing bad or something I am unsure about.

The game play is easy to learn and teach to new players. The things I like, the inspiration dice are really a nice touch for this game, these dice are rolled at the start of each turn and depending on what you roll a player can spend them to activate some skills or mod stats. Dislike, the basic game is very simple with and average of 4 models on each side this will be more of a beer and pretzel game. I think the key to this game will be the adventures, If they can keep making adventure expansions I can see this game getting a lot of game time. I am unsure about how much randomness is in the game. Between the inspiration dice and normal dice roll it seems like luck can make or break a game.

What I would like to see, more scenarios and game tiles. I would like to see more characters, it would be nice to see a fully trained ninja, and not his VoTech counterpart. I would also like to see some sort of leveling campaign rule in the future. And the last thing I would like to see is a system to allow more then 2 people to play.
