This past weekend at Ubercon I had the wonderful experience of not having to play wegs for one session as Spointer and Chris the Red took over running a session for me. And during this I got to play an AWESOME game run by WEGS enthusiast Mel.
The game was called Spirit of the Century and it was awesome! It is a rework of the Fate system and uses Fudge dice, making the game very simple as far as dice mechanics go.
The game plays like watching an epic adventure movie along the lines of Indiana Jones or Lawrence of Arabia. The characters are based off of the novels written about them and the character creation is practically as fun as playing the game itself.
If you are looking for a great way to tell awesome stories with lively characters, Spirit of the Century is the game for you!
