So in the interest of doing as little work as possible I am trolling fora today. Sadly there's not as much chatter as there used to be back in the day on the Confrontation forums. Anyways I'm curious what games and armies people will be bringing to GenCon. I'll start: 5000 points of CAoR Mid Nor (re-based onto rounds) Helldorado Saracens Infinity undecided (PanOceania, Haqqislam, or Combined Army) Dark Age undecided (Brood, Forsaken or Skarrd most likely) Wargods Typhon or Eaters of the Dead Warmachine/Hordes staying home I'll also be bringing along copies of Strange Aeons which is the miniatures game a friend is working on. The book is currently with the layout and typesetter, and it is expected to be launched at the Mayday gaming convention in Edmonton in May, and I will be bringing copies with me to GenCon to promote. This is the same guy who does resin scenery that is a buddy. http://www.umw-online.comStrange Aeons is a Pulp skirmish game set in the 1920's. He currently is getting minis sculpted but you can use any pulp figs, and we recommend Bob Murch http://www.pulpfigures.com/ You put together a team of investigators from the organization Threshold, choice of Heroes, Agents, and Civillians. Every game you play, your team of heroes advances and gains new skills. Threshold is investigating the Lurkers, evil Cultists, Fishmen, formless things, Godlings and mummies and undead. The villains don't adavance, but they are rebuilt every game to the same points as the Threshold team. SO in one game if you want 10 Cultists to take them on good on ya. But in the next you can take a Mummy and zombies, or maybe a large monster like the Winged Nightmare. If Cthulhu is your thing you'll be into the game.

Alkemy: Six demo armies! basically six painted boxes of stuff Dark Age: God willing, 750 points of painted Brood! I am going to play some Dark Age! GW: at least 3000 points of Tau and 4500 points of Imperium for our "D-Day" Scenario! TTG Stuff:let's see....13 terrain boards, 500 TTG Dice, t-shirts, banner...maybe more stuff! DICE! and other random gaming crap...I think I've covered it all! EDIT: Maybe I should bring my WarGods and actually play that game for once in my life!

Do it and at the very least we can get in a pick up game. I really enjoy Wargods, but I am the only one locally with an army, let alone six. Four of which can all be fielded separately at 1250 points. The SPartans and Wendigo need a bit more love.

I'll be bringing along a few things:
Infinity: Nomads, Haqqs and Yu Jing and possibly Pan O Helldorado: Westerners Alkemy: depends on what I can get my hands on by then. Confrontation: Lions for C3, Wolfen for CAOR if I bring anything, not sure yet.. Pulp City: hopefully... AT-43: Depends on if I sell if all by then...
I'm mostly wanting to play Infinity, Alkemy and Helldorado and look out for new games and things to try out.

I may bring some AT-43 along also, and possibly a C3 army, but it depends on the room I have. I still need to go pick up the AT Battalion transport for the trip.

I'm debating getting a couple series 2 army transports or just jumping up to the Battalion one myself. Still not sure, but I need to do something to get all the minis out of my office.

I've got one regular transport, but I've quickly outgrown it with the number of systems and armies I play. The Battalion should let me fit at least one of each army for GenCon if not more.

Yu-Jing and at least one CAoR army. It'll probably be Scorpions, Serpent, Ram, or Tree Spirit, depending on what is painted and what rules come out between now and then.

I am also planning on bringing some board and card games; Gloom, Tsuro, maybe dalmuti, maybe monster menace, and a few others

Right on right on. :)
I think we need to set up some kind of Mid Nor takes on allcomers. I think there's going to be like over 25,000 points of Mid Nor at GenCon.
