Finally making it back to painting my Sarrasins. This is my sixth figure from the line. I'm struggling w/ some good flesh techniques and this was a lot of experimentation. Some worked...some didn't. I used some of the middle east skin tones from chrispy's tutorial on CMON. I need to start w/ a lighter shade and move down vs starting dark. This is also the first time I've tried the shaved head routine and I think it worked out. I had a terrible time w/ the eyes and face but overall, the fig is done, I learned some things, and time to move on. I hope to finish the remainder of the starter box this month (1 more pillar of faith, the panter, and Nazir ibn Hamid.

Here is my 2nd Pillar of faith. Completely different go at the skin. I'm interested to see what your thoughts are on the differences between the two and which is preferred. Also, my Hassashin. I have 2 more figs to finish the starter box.

I especially like the dirt on the big guy's clothes, and the flesh tones are very nice as well.

Great stuff John!!
I love the skin tones! Especially the "stubble" on the bald guys head. Very cool!
