Hello,
My name is John and I am an art student in Cincinnati. I game with Bandar and Kain on Saturdays and it is my fault that Bandar is now a gamer... sorry garret.
My first game was the old hex based BattleTech which I played for the first time when I was about 10 or so with my older brother. I played BattleTech for a number of years before I found an 'Introduction to Games Workshop' booklet in with my brother's gaming stuff. From there I bought a Warhammer 5th ed. box set and a White Dwarf... upon opening the White Dwarf I found out that 6th ed just came out and the people at the Board Walk sold me the old ed so they could get rid of it...
Soon after I found a love for orks in 40k and played them for about four years, by then their codex was totally outdated.
So I played WHFB for a few years, then War Machine, then Hordes and now Confrontation 3 (all Kain's fault) and I am going to be playing Alkemy.
I enjoy making terrain and painting minis, though art school gets in the way of the hobby... you know the real important thing in life
I hope to be jump starting the hobby sections of this forums with some terrain step-by-step articles while I am slaving away for Kain making terrain for Origins
(man I'm a sucker lol)
