Anyone interested in getting into FoW with an inexpensive yet powerful army should check out the new Tiger March box set. retails at 65.00 i think. you get 5 Tiger tanks which is nearly a completer army. I have played the list twice needing to only add a unit of nebelwerfers and a pak40. won both games vs regular german armor.

Just throwing it out for those still trying to decide

My wife may come to kill you. cheesygrin This was really the last barrier to entry for the game, I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on a lot of infantry, etc, when what I really wanted were some tanks, and this fits the bill nicely. Especially since I wanted to play Germans.

There were horses and a man on fire and I killed a guy with a trident!

its a great start, its a strong army, its tanks! also, if you enjoy history, these tanks were under the command of Michael Wittman who was one of germanys greatest heroes during the war and was constantly in the middle of combat on most of the axis fronts! there are rules included for using Wittman (and he is awesome).

The Tigers Marsch is supported by the Villers-Bocage Scenario booklet as well. The Tigers in this set can be used in one manner or another by most Late-War German Armies.

There is a separate smaller boxed set with Michael Wittman and his Tiger for about $20.00

Tigers is the one thing my soviet infantry army is not really looking forward to facing.

I could (as my german opponent tends to point out) get the more powerful IS-2 tanks but the Tigers.. Cheaper army to start with and can be nasty if you are not prepared for them.

I have a big head and little arms..

I finally bought the set from my LGS; it's a great deal compared to many other sets. Tiger Dice, the Decal sheets, the guidebook, and of course the tanks.....
