Ok, so Origins is closer and requires more "lead time" to create events, so I figured I would start the process by asking everyone what they are interested in playing at Origins!

Mini events are things like scenarios and special events like a 4 on 4 city fight. Tourneys are exactly what they sound like.

For RPGs, there is not enough room on the poll to suggest different types of RPGs, so right now they have a broad category.

When voting, post what games you would like to see. If you voted for RPGs, tell us what type of RPGS, etc, etc... mrgreen

EDIT: To vote on a poll, just roll over the choice you would like to make and click on it. That's all it takes! lone ranger

The Olde World Warriors put on a great Warhammer tournament and events every year at Origins - I'll be there again, with my new "Grateful Undead" VC army!

Hey Puggimer!

Would your Grateful Undead army be up for a WEGS smackdown? Meaning, you and I can create WEGS stats for your army, then we have a face off with some TTGers (who will create WEGS 101 arks). So, it boils down to you running the minions versus the players and I'll be the rules monger floating around helping everyone.

You probably don't know WEGS, but it's easy to play and has a ton of explosive battle crunch. Kain + krew can chime in here if they're up for it!

If this sounds good folks, we'll need to coordinate space/time. I'm running a bunch of events at Origins, but can factor this in somehow.

Just throwing this out there! That army looks too cool and fun! It's perfect for WEGSifying.

Sure - though you are correct - I don't know WEGS at all.

Cool - this is very early stage planning. We can iron out details over the course of December/January for date/time of the battle. We need to figure out the best time for this so it doesn't conflict with our other gaming agendas!

Puggimer - I'll contact you via email later this week and we can chat offline. I'll check out your site for details on the army, etc. I'll give you the WEGS lowdown.

Kain - I def see this as the Shroom-eater Goblin clan versus the Undead. We can probably push this game to 7 players versus the Grateful Undead. I'll dream up some neutral ground setting/scenario, but it'll most likely be just one big smack-down.

One of the theme tracks this year at Origins is:

Braaaaaains!

If we get this Grateful Undead vs. Shroomeater Goblin game together, we'll fit right in with one of the con themes.

We'll chat some more about that in 2008.

Been a busy year-end!

Don't forget space is also a theme track. We've tapped into that for Battlestations.

Combine two themes in one?

Zombies In Space?

Suddenly, it's sounding very Ed Wood...

Well right now I'm just wishing I were able to play ANYTHING at Origins - looks like this will be the first one I've missed 1998. :-( Not confirmed yet (and won't be until late May, but not looking good).
