The LGS has worked out a deal for me to run demos and Tournies for Axis & Allies minis. I have read through the rules and they look easy enough to play, but I am not sure what is the best approach to running this game. I have a personal ban on playing anything collectible, so I have no background on how I should handle this game. What I have is a demo pack that comes with 12 ships, but this is intended to be prize support.

As a side note, I actually like how the game looks, the ships look great and how they treat aircraft is interesting.

Have you run some demos since posting this? What do you think of the game?

it is not bad, it is fairly easy to teach people how to play, the game goes quickly, and there is something to the game beyond force list and rolling dice. When I read the rules for the first time I thought the only thing that would be complex about the game is how you used your aircraft. But with a balance list even ship movement could be meaningful. The only thing I am not sure about is if a bunch of little things like PT Boats are going to be more powerful then Battle ships.
