Glad to have you along - love to read your perspective on things at the Rack' forum. Must admit to not posting there all that much anymore since my cmoputer died (am still using a loaned laptop at home).

It seems like you are having a difficult time expressing your feelings, could you tell us what you really think.

I have not been on the confrontation message board in months, from what I hear (Gauss and Wraith) that it is a graveyard.

I actually still are sitting there for one good reason. Hope.
I hope there will suddenly be a reversal and this nightmare that 3.5 and CAoR will be gone.
I Hope FFG will start explaining stuff.
I hope that other folks come to their senses and see what's going on.
and lastly, I hope to see interesting new paint jobs, good modeling or scenario ideas and some useful discussion.

I've seen a little bit of what I hoped for, but not much...

Oh, as to the perceived part.. good question.

Some folks see me as the Voice of Reason (which makes me shudder)
Some folks see me as some wonderful person who only contradicts to do so and is rude
Other seem to think I'm OK and quite level headed. Or so I've seen posted by other folks.

But those who know me realize it's all part of stating an opinion and being truthful to the ideals I have. That said - if I'm come off as a sarcastic @$$ - tell me. I probably needed to drop a smiley or something in a spot to emphasize the fact I was joking.
