Hi all,

I'm Patrick and I play mainly mini games, especially, Infinity, but want to start to get more into Dark Age and Alkemy, but I'm willing to play anything at least once. Started gaming when I was about 10 with the blue cover D&D book (before the Basic/advanced split). I really like to paint minis.

I was impressed with the crew at Origins this year and thought I would see what going on here.

BTW, Darkeldar, I was your Infinity guinea pig cheesygrin .

Thanks for your patience and your comments, as these will help run the GenCon tournament more efficiently. If you find yourself in Columbus, stop by the Guardtower and talk to Mike, as he's the Infinity guru that got me interested.

I don't know if I can get to Gencon. Maybe we could meet up somewhere else, maybe the Guard Tower that Rich goes to. It's about 2 or 2 1/2 hours from me.

I live just south of Canton, so Columbus is the best. Plus the inlaws live near by in case I need some babysitting. Just set up a time and a place.

I play mostly historical games, DBA, & HotT with HMGS-GL and GLADBAG (won this years HotT tournament at Origins) We were only a few tables over from the Infinity table, so I wandered over and played a demo..lost, but otherwise held my own. I enjoyed the mechanics of the game, so I picked up a set of Nomads and a set of Haqqislam. I have to get them painted, so it'll take me some time to get them up.

Arrgh...It's followed me here...Keep your Ancient ways away from my brainwaves...

Otherwise welcome here. Were trying to become a Midwestern based gaming group here. Feel free to post a topic on the games you play in the appropriate section.

Keep me in the loop, as I'll let them know we're having a game there, and make sure that Mike is there and that there is no problem using some of the shops terrain. Otherwise I can make my setup available.
