Don't know how much it would benefit this community as a lot of you midwesterners seem to know whereabouts the others live, but for people like me on the east and that new guy on the west, maybe we should get a player locator going. Maybe list what games you play, where you play 'em, and that kinda stuff?

I almost thought of starting one myself last week but then the idea drowned in a sea of work and was forgotten. Which is good as I would be a lazy manager.

The one thing that dooms every other player locator out there to failure is that it's game-specific and gets forgotten in a hurry. The ideal player locator just shows people, where they're at, and what games they play or want to play. Then you can get names from every player base out there.

Perhaps with the option to upload a photo of yourself too. It's easier to take the step of contacting someone when they don't look like either a skeez, or a devout follower of Nurgle. No one wants to be in that situation where you took the risk to meet someone and your first handshake involves an exchange of spaghetti sauce, and then at the end of the game it's like a bad date - you're figuring out how to leave and desperately hoping they won't ask you ask for a second round without making yourself seem cruel.
