Hungry for wicked sword-n-sorcery adventure?

Then put some WEGS on your plate at Origins!

WEGS is the Wickedly Errant Game System by GameWick Games.

GameWick Games can be found at Booth 429/431 Gary Gygax Avenue in the convention hall.

There are a bunch of WEGS games on the event schedule (see lower post) and we’ll be running demos at our booth during exhibit hall hours. Stop by and watch a game in progress. If you have ten or fifteen minutes you can roll up a character, grab some poker chips and jump into the fray!

Poker chips?!? Yup! Like casino craps, WEGS is a game about odds and gods. Fueled by four dice alone (2d10 and 2d6), this system delivers heroic action like no other. WEGS is a great introduction for new role-players, and rpg veterans will get big kicks out of the speed-of-play. WEGS is the action-packed, dice-rolling, casino-crazed, sword-n-sorcery system that you, your dice and your minis have been waiting for!

Who knew that four dice could generate so much dang excitement?!?

Come jump into the WEGS fray and see for yourself!

Here’s the WEGS game plan for Origins 2008.

The 10 AM morning games are great for a quick WEGS intro. The game is only two hours, and includes character creation. Get in and out of the system in a jiff (and just in time for lunch)!

The 9 PM evening games are part of Origins Theme Track, Braaaaaiiins! These games are zombie-fests filled with all sorts of horrible encounters for the heroes. These are three-hour sessions that conclude around midnite.

Here’s the game blurbs:

Dungeons Or Dragons (Players Choice)
Origins 2008 Game Times: Thursday, Friday and Saturday; 10 AM - Noon
Welcome to WEGS, the Wickedly Errant Game System! What’s it gonna be, folks? Players decide the type of adventure they want to jump into. The session begins with the wickedly quick WEGS character creation and then the group picks their adventure: fight dragons, explore dungeons, assault giants, taunt some goblin slavers or encounter a minotaur or two? We’ll give you whatever you want just to get you to give WEGS a try! The perfect intro to WEGS!

From Dusk ‘Til Dead
Origins 2008 Game Times: Wednesday – Saturday; 9 PM - Midnite
Say ‘ello to my little boomstick! A few moments ago, the party’s Mage was standing in the middle of the temple ruins reading aloud from a wacky tome she discovered in a nearby crypt. Now, she’s just a bubbling mess of blood and bones on the floor. Suddenly, the sound of undead horror echoes through the temple halls and the shuffling of zombie feet draws near! You told her not to read that accursed book! Keep your boomsticks and chainswords handy – things are gonna get real messy. A bloody little intro to WEGS, the brand-new, old-skool, six stat, sword-n-sorcery adventure game with a Vegas twist! Phew!

More info at GameWick.

Hope some of you join us round the gaming table!

If you do come, make sure we know who you are, too!
