Any ideas? I got the lizards and they are not playing well with their flight stands... How did you make it work for your ships?

Mine just came in so I'll be picking up the Sorylians tonight. I'm not a fan of their stands just from an asthetic point. But apparently they are used. I'll let you know when I get mine.

A lot of guys seem to be spraying their stands black which looks pretty good if you have a black tabletop to play on.
What's going wrong with your stands kain?

My pegs don't fit in my bases, and the holes in the figs are very loose around the ships and not a good fit. I'd like the ability to take them on and off w/out issue for storage but the only way to make it work is w/ Epoxy to hold my ships in place. Bleh... w/ bases attached it takes up a huge amount of storage space.

The pegs are pretty tight. What I did with mine was use an exacto to trim around the bottom of the peg and the top of the hole to help them fit in.
For storage, I cut up some square brass rod. Bigger side fits over the end of the post, smaller side goes on the model and nests inside the bigger diameter tube. I know other people that use magnets, Ninja Magic connectors, barrel clasps, motherboard standoffs, etc... I definitely wouldn't want to glue them because as you say it takes ridiculous amounts of storage foam if you do that.
