Hello everyone.
Darkson Designs is looking for 4-6 people to help them run events for their AE-WWII and AE-Bounty products at GenCon this year.
There will be copies of the rules given to volunteers as well as miniatures for the two games.
If anyone is interested in helping out, please let me know. I am a member of Darkson Designs as a Partisan, in case you are wondering.
Thanks.

Since it's events, I'd guess in TTG - correct me if I'm wrong.

You are correct. This will be helping in the TTG areas.
From what I've talked to Chris about, demos will be happening at the booth. This would be helping out the various games, tourney and Bring and Battle they are proposing.
Here is the official word from Darkson for those interested in volunteering:
Any of the guys that are thinking about running the events let me know there emails as we can get them a copy of the Core Rules through Wargames Vault. They just need to be signed up. Again this offer is for any of the guys even thinking about running the event. For the 4-6 guys running the events we can get them a starter force of their choice and a few blisters to get them a detachment. What better way to run a game than to play it yourself. Once Bounty is released we can even see about getting the guys that run the events a digital copy before the shows so they know about it and get them a nice size crew.

I'm interested and thinking. We've got a couple guys who played AE-WWII and are salivating for Bounty. At the very least, when I am no running my main events, I'd be happy to help out.
I'll send a PM.

I have received the PM and forwarded all information to Darkson so they can get your info and minis out to you.

Just touching base with everyone who volunteered thus far.
You should have received an email from Rob at Darkson Designs by now.
If you haven't let me know, please.

I had to resend a couple of your emails to Darkson. Apparently mine originally got eaten by an email filter somewhere.
I have resent everything and Rob (darkson) will be contacting all of you that I have received info for.
Thanks again guys!

Okay, once again the email has beaten me up.
I resent the volunteer list from TTG to Rob at Darkson. Those of you who graciously volunteered should have received your emails. Those of you who didn't, should soon as I just resent everything I had.
Also, those of you who didn't, may feel free to beat me up if/when you see me at Origins. Sorry, I won't be going to GenCon this year.

I got my copy of the rules and have been slowly, like really slowly making my way through the book. Just have to decide on what faction I like the most. I'll definately have to build some Germans for demos and such.
Looking forward to giving this a go.

Here is the link to the over the wire downloads, Link. There is additional rules, missions, a British force, and a few other goodies. I do not think the pulp city cross over stuff is official for tournaments, but everything else is afaik

You are correct. Everything except the Pulp City Supremes are good for tournaments and any other games.

I can help out with either of the competitive campaigns, AE-Bounty or AE-WWII. Let me know which one you would prefer me in, I don't have a preference.
I'm running Strange Aeons events at the same time as the 10am events, but can probably help out with Open Gaming in the evenings.

I stopped by the LGS at lunch and used my $15 credit to nab a Rholingsoldat and the Krieghund team. Really looking forward to trying this game out.
