The second Keep on the Badderlands module has been unleashed!

Check it out in all its glory here:

B2: Minotaur Meat

Thanks to all the folks who playtested this sucker. If I forgot to give you a credit on the inside cover, shoot me a note and I'll add you to the list! We playtested this at all the major conventions this year, so some folks who jumped into the fray there may not be listed.

Lots of cool artwork from Jim Holloway (a fabulous old skool artist from the TSR heydey), Tony Steele and Brian Thomas. Check out Jim's minotaur, Tony's squid and Brian's crusty dwarf!

Big thanks to the Prof who helped playtest this sucker at various cons and for our local gang o' gamers!

And thanks to everyone who went head-to-head with the Minotaur Lord Ottkexx in 2009!

Time to get cracking on B3!

Oh yeah...

There's an updated version of B1 Hobgobble's Eve available, too.

No change in the encounters/chapters, but in the Adventure Notes.

I cracked open my 1979 D&D blue book the other night, just to see what the orig ORIG orig minotaur was. I had to laugh on the description as it highlighted one of the reasons the WEGS Tens Under Six rule came into being - to quiet rulemongers!

Quote:
"The minotaur is a bull-headed man (and all of us who have debated game rules are well acquainted with such). They are bigger than human size and are man-eaters. They will always attack and pursue as long as their prey is in sight. They usually inhabit tunnels, mazes and labyrinths."

Gotta wonder if that was Mr. Gygax or Mr. Arneson sneaking in that little bit of fun!
