GameWick Games Gets Old Skool Cheap! There’s no better time to get into the
Wickedly Errant Game System than now!
With all the 2009 conventions behind us,
GameWick Games is announcing our
End of Cons sale! Our flagship product,
WEGS 101 Old Skool is at its lowest price ever - only
$19! Brilliantly packaged with that classic hang hole bag look,
Old Skool includes an easy-to-read rulebook and the complete deck of skill cards. Just add poker chips and dice and you’re ready to roll!
Q: I’ll bite. What the heck is this WEGS 101 Old Skool system all about?A:
Old Skool is full-throttle, pulp fantasy adventure that will make your battlemat and miniatures smoulder! Simply brutal and brutally simple, the system is perfect for getting your gaming gang together to try something new! Or something old, even. Have you got old modules sitting around that you would love to run again? Crack ‘em on open, but use
WEGS 101 as the engine!
Q: Hmm… And how do I know if this system is for me?A: This is the system you need if your minis are complaining about playing by the same old rules and your dice look longingly to escape over the table’s edge (never to be found again until the vacuum comes out). The telltale sign that you could use some
WEGS though, is if the most exciting part of the game is when the pizza delivery guy buzzes the doorbell. (Coincidentally, that’s
exactly the diversion that your dice need for their escape.)
So, at only
$19 bucks, now is the time to sink your teeth into this awesome sword-n-sorcery system that
GameWick Games has been bandying about on the convention circuit the last couple years. From Gen Con to Cold Wars to Origins to Historicon (and lots of conventions in between), we’ve thrown down with some great players.
Now is your time to get in on the action!
More information on the
End of Cons sale and
WEGS 101 Old Skool can be found on the GameWick Games site.
See you at the 2010 cons!

ps - Seriously, though… Released at GenCon 2007,
WEGS 101 Old Skool is a bold new look at the classic adventure game genre. Players start with robust characters with one destiny: big adventure! With its basic six-stat character sheet, it is a great system for introducing new players to the tactical delights of fantasy rpgs. Veteran players get big kicks out of this retro-hybrid and its wicked speed-of-play. Using only 2d6, 2d10 and some poker chips as its fuel, players are encouraged to take risks and, most of all, have fun.
That’s WEGS, folks!
