Hey TTG-ers!

We'll be hitting this NJ con with WEGS on Saturday, Jan 26th. We're only running games on one of the con days. Here's what's on our menu:

SATURDAY

9:00 AM
DUNGEONS OR DRAGONS (Players Choice)
Welcome to WEGS, the Wickedly Errant Game System! Sword-n-sorcery with a Vegas-laced twist! What’s it gonna be, folks? The session begins with the wickedly quick WEGS character creation where players create their hero (Warrior, Ranger, Trickster, Mage or Sage). Next the players decide the adventure: fight dragons, explore dungeons, assault giants, taunt some goblin slavers or encounter a minotaur or two? Have at it, folks! We’re ready for your adventure!

2:00 PM
DINGBITT’S DUNGE O’ DOOM
You ain’t done dungeon ‘til you done Dingbitt’s! A rag-tag assortment of Dwarves, Elves, Goblins, Gnobbits and Humnz are plunged into the randomly generated dungeon run by Dingbitt, the rabid Gnobbit trickster. Dingbitt’s magic dungeon is chock full of treasure, traps and monsters. The deeper folks delve into the dungeon, the bigger the booty (and the greater the peril, of course). It’s all up to the players to decide what it shall be – fabulous treasure, worthy opponents or, perhaps, just to find a way out? It’s amazing how priorities change when they’re no longer on Dungeon Level 1… This scenario utilizes the WEGS Deal-A-Minion deck. The fate of the players all depends on how the cards fall. WEGS: Adventure! Just add dice and chill…

8:00 PM
RESERVOIR DWOIRVES
Stuck in the middle with WEGS. A simple little heist gone horribly wrong. A rag-tag assortment of Dwarves, Elves, Goblins, Gnobbits and Humnz find themselves in a secret underground hide-out in the shunned mines of Smornia. The five-step plan was simple: break into the Goblin treasure vault, snatch the gems, fly from the scene of the crime to a secret location, divide the treasure equally, depart amicably. Something went wrong though, and now everyone is sitting around with long faces in a dark chamber somewhere below the great Dwarven reservoir. Thank goodness you all wore your good boots today – it’s gonna get deep. Old skool sword-n-sorcery with a Vegas-laced twist!

Midnite
FROM DUSK ‘TIL DEAD
Say ‘ello to my little boomstick! A rag-tag assortment of Dwarves, Elves, Goblins, Gnobbits and Humnz find themselves in an isolated cabin in the middle of a shunned forest… A few moments ago, the party’s Mage was standing in the middle of the room reading aloud from a wacky tome she discovered in the fireplace. Now, she’s just a bubbling mess of blood and bones on the floor. The sound of undead horror fills the air outside the cabin, and from below a horrid thumping noise knocks on the cellar door. Keep your boomsticks and chainswords handy – things are gonna get real messy. A bloody little intro to WEGS, the brand-new, old-skool sword-n-sorcery adventure game!

Love Dreammation/Dexcon.

I'll be there, doing rep work for Asmodee US. (I ought to be at a table in the gaming companies section). If you ever hear someone cry out "Buy Something" in a semi-desperate tone, it'll probably be me. lol

If anyone from here wants to try any of our new releases (chances are I might even have some untranslated/upcoming products with me).

Cool, Xenon - I'll try to find you.

I'll be the other gamer desperately crying out "Buy Something"...

Hey folks,

We just added another game - a sneak peek at WEGS Pirates!

SUNDAY AFTERNOON SPECIAL: ESCAPE FROM YAWLCATRAZ

A WEGS finale and sneak peek at the upcoming Pirates of Penzantium rules for the Wickedly Errant Game System! A rag-tag assortment of Dwarves, Elves, Goblins, Gnobbits and Humnz are prisoners on the isle of Yawlcatraz, an especially nasty Goblin penal colony. With the brutal Goblin guard inside and hungry troll headhunters outside, it’s hard to tell which side is safest. There’s only one way to find out: escape! Players will face an increasingly tough series of elimination encounters as they hightail it for the beach. Players may create sword-n-sorcery pirates characters at the start of the game, or use characters from earlier WEGS sessions.

A great way to end the con!

Gimme an arrr!

We'll just have to figure out a way to get them all incarcerated, then...

Like THAT will be hard...

Good folk of TTG-land!

This con is THIS weekend. If you're a-coming, swing by the WEGS table(s). I'll be running games (list above) and be running a vendor booth in-between. If you're a TTG-er and playing in a game o' mine, make sure I know it. It's worth 2 Phew! points (cause TTG-ers are a few steps ahead of your average gaming bear... right?)!

Plus, I've got the first WEGS 101 Skill Deck avail for sale. Limited edition on those... They make the game feel like it should!

eek Skill Decks? DUDE! You are killing me! I wish I could make this, but there is no money right now for "travel" due to an overly awesome Christmas!
