 I ask you all to throw your votes in once again for the midnite minion. We're down to three minions! This list is comprised of all those who got a vote on the original poll. Which minion will be the bane of the Arks this year? -- a dread Lich lord who wields the power to annihilate an opponent with a single glance... -- a dragon that can vaporize an entire party with its breath... -- 99 low level orcs... We will, of course, make this one twisted encounter no matter which way this poll goes!

Whoo...I've heard horrible things about Max, and to be honest (while it sounds like a "300"-esque saga for the ages) the Orcs sound pretty easy, all things considered. As such, gimme the Semi-Demi-Hemi Lich!

So, the power might rest in the hands of the Goblin Shroom clan... If they pick minions like they pick spells it's a random draw for them! But Kain may not be holding all of the cards...  Voting is still open to Thursday... (and where the heck am I gonna get 99 orc minions!)

well although the dragon and lich sound awesome I think it would be crazy fun to have a WEGS brawl with 99 enemy creatures plus the charcters it is going to be crazy which ever one that wins

Here's the rules for the midnite encounter (most of 'em anyhow)... The Minions40 4/44 Rangers 50 4/44 Warriors 5 6/66 Mages 4 6/66 Tricksters The Special RulesINI Innings: 2d6+2d10 innings will be played. RR1s. RR2s. Encounter Spoints: 99 spoints on "our side" of the table. Wicked Strengths: Any score below your Strength score will count as a 03 Wicked Score. Only applies to Arks. If you have a 7WS, then the Wicked Good range is increased to 7%. This is heroic level play after all. Enchanted Items: All players will begin with one enchanted item. See thread on Weapons of Mass Orkage. Torrent of Arrows: Starting at Inning 2, the first torrent of arrows will be launched. 20 Ruggedness rolls will be made via a new method call "Quick Rolls". Any roll under 44% hits its target. We will divvy the successful hits randomly amongst the players. The next inning another 20 arrows will come down... Get ready for rapid INV% rolls! We've never unleashed this type of pain on players before... Orcs a plenty!

What in the name of Ogma were we thinking when we went down this path! 99 Low Level Orks... At midnite... I, for one, am glad that the game did not go off as planned (though now I have 99 ork-ish minis to clutter up my mini collection). I will be running this game at a local convention in a couple of weeks, but it starts at 2pm, not midnite... Details will follow!

That sucks it didnt go off but some local cons does taht include histrorycon in lancaaster/gettysburg(cannt remember which)
